Valley Farm Alterations and Extension
Valley Farm is a Georgian Farmhouse set in substantial grounds in the open countryside near Sittingbourne. When our clients purchased the property it was in need of sensitive restoration and modernisation of bathrooms, kitchen and utility areas. To the rear of the property, there was an extension in poor condition that was used for storage and garaging, which presented an opportunity to relocate the kitchen into this converted and extended part of the house, with the new master bedroom, dressing room and en-suite above. we worked closely with the client and local authority to develop a scheme that allowed the extension and alterations to the property without compromising the historic significance of the property. The internal alterations and extensions were integrated seamlessly into the building making it difficult to tell where the new extension has been added.
