Restoration House
This small but sensitive project required both planning and listed building consent for the construction of a replacement gate to the Elizabethan gardens of the historic Restoration House in Rochester. The design incorporated a tall brick gable, carefully conceived to reflect and complement the Flemish architectural character of the manor house to which it leads. The new gate enhances the sense of arrival while respecting the historic fabric and significance of its setting.
