Old Maypole Farm Dairy
This stone and brick former dairy building is in the grounds of a Grade II* Listed Wealden Hall House in East Sussex. The small dairy building had been redundant since the farmhouse and associated farm buildings were disassociated with the surrounding farmland and the building had been poorly maintained. A new use was needed to ensure the preservation of this historically significant agricultural building, and as the adjacent barn had already been converted into a holiday let, this seemed the obvious choice. The existing building was very small, but just large enough to accommodate a small sleeping platform over a shower room, with open plan kitchen, dining and living spaces.
