Motto House, Sutton Vallence | Alterations & Extension
Cyma was appointed to provide architectural services for alterations to Motto House, a four-storey historic property attached to the listed Motto Cottage and partly extending over a flying freehold.
The project involved reorganising the first-floor accommodation to create a larger family bathroom and improving the master bedroom suite by removing the existing WC access and redesigning the en-suite to include a shower in place of a bath. As part of the works, we assessed the feasibility of removing an internal chimney stack at first-floor level and within the roof space.
The design process was supported by existing digital as-built drawings provided by the client.
