This project involved the major reconstruction of a Victorian farmhouse, including the demolition of a dilapidated 1920s extension and its replacement with a substantial new Regency-style addition. The original house was fully gutted and rebuilt, preserving its historic character while upgrading it to modern standards.
The new extension was designed with meticulous attention to period detail, most notably in the entrance hall, which features a checkerboard stone floor and a cantilevered carved stone staircase with a cast iron handrail.
