Situated within the Queens Road conservation area near Ashford town centre, this small development of three houses and a one-bedroom flat, replacing a single house, was designed to have the appearance of a pair of Edwardian semi detached houses with a coach house at the rear. This approach was taken so that the new buildings fitted seamlessly into the surrounding context of Edwardian villas. The success of the projects was recognised by the local authority, who awarded the scheme a commendation in their Building Design and Construction Awards.
