Cyma Architects have thirty years of experience working with Kentish oak timber frame construction, from the restoration of historic 14th Century Grade II* Listed oak frame Wealden Hall Houses and the conversion and restoration of historic oak frame barns, to the design and construction of new green oak frame houses and outbuildings. Our work on the analysis, conservation and restoration of historic oak frame buildings in Kent and East Sussex have given us a deep understanding and appreciation of the traditional oak frame construction. This has enabled us to design new, contemporary and traditional green oak frame buildings designed and constructed within that tradition.
