This new build four bedroom house is built within the curtilage of a Grade II Listed Building and is within a Conservation Area.
The design of the new house is that of a classical Georgian town house, sympathetic to the adjacent Listed Building and Conservation Area. The house is built to modern building standards and includes under floor heating and rainwater harvesting, but with authentic classical external detailing.
The construction also includes many salvaged and reused materials, including the original garden wall, which forms the ground floor walls to the rear of the house, and the footings of an original orangery, which forms the garden room in the rear garden. All internal doors were salvaged from a London office building that was being stripped out.
