To create a new community centre with a main hall to seat 300 people and refurbishment of the existing village hall. To assist in the preparation of grant applications.
The design of the new community centre had to suitably fit within its rural village location. The client for the project was the Headcorn village committee, who Cyma Architects worked closely with to deliver the building they required. A sustainable design audit with the Interreg programme largely improved the environmental impact of the building.
