To replace an existing poorly constructed annexe with new oak framed garden room. Re-modelling of interior house layout including the creation of a new light and airy kitchen & family room, improved master bedroom and living room, with an emphasis on the use of sustainable materials and low energy fittings.
The design involved using natural light in the most beneficial way possible, whilst overcoming an existing issue of overshadowing. The design and materials selected were chosen to be sympathetic to the original building. The rear elevation included a two storey bay with an overhanging roof, both of entirely traditional construction. Quality original features where retained and re-used where possible.
