To enlarge the house for the clients growing family by creating two additional bedrooms, further living space, nursery area and to improve rear access to land with difficult topography to its rear which was limiting the use by the clients and family.
This project involved a part single and part two storey extension to a beautiful Kentish gatehouse. The extension, completed in 2019 is clad in larch timber with a slate tiled roof. The design intended for the extension to appear subservient to the existing dwelling whilst complimenting the historic Kentish ragstone.
