This project was for the construction of a new build, oak frame barn, with the grounds of a Grade II Listed Building, to accommodate a studio with living accommodation including two bedrooms at first floor. The oak frame was designed within the Kent green oak frame tradition and the building is finished with green oak weatherboarding and a Kent peg tile roof. Heat is supplied via ground source heat pump linked to underfloor heating. The design of the building was completed in close cooperation with the client and was self built.
