This project was for the major reconstruction of an original Victorian farmhouse, which had a substantial 1920’s extension which was in a poor state of repair. The work included the demolition of the extension and replacement with a substantial new extension in Regency style, and the gutting and complete reconstruction of the original house. The new extension was designed with a great attention to period detail, in particular the new entrance hall, with checker board stone floor and cantilever carved stone staircase with cast iron hand rail.
