The Island Wall development is located in the Whitstable sea front conservation area, and consists of two blocks of three houses. The buildings are of timber frame construction, designed in the local vernacular tradition, with painted timber weatherboarding above brick plinths, painted timber windows and doors and slate tile roofs.
